Job Description
ALAY HR Consulting is recruiting on behalf of a reputable Christian-based school in Nairobi committed to academic excellence, character development, and holistic learner growth grounded in Christian values.
The Key Stage 2 Coordinator will provide leadership and oversight for Years 3–6, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning, effective curriculum delivery, learner achievement, staff support, and learner welfare. The successful candidate will foster a positive, inclusive, and learner-centered environment while supporting teachers and promoting academic excellence.
Requirements & Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Education from a recognized institution (candidates currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Education may also apply).
• Valid TSC Registration Certificate.
• Minimum of 3–5 years' teaching experience in a primary school setting, preferably within Key Stage 2.
• Experience in a British/Cambridge Curriculum school will be an added advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, classroom management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to academic excellence, child-centered learning, safeguarding, and continuous professional development.
• Appreciation for and willingness to support a Christian-based educational environment and values.
Key Competencies:
The ideal candidate should possess strong instructional leadership and curriculum coordination skills, the ability to mentor and inspire teachers, excellent teamwork and problem-solving abilities, and high levels of professionalism, integrity, accountability, and commitment to learner welfare.
